In
Mønsted Limestone Caves there are more than 60 kilometres of underground
paths. Some are as large as cathedrals and others are so narrow
that a grown man cannot walk through them upright. Electric light
is provided in 2 kilometres of pathway.
From the main path which leads into the caves you can by means of
a side path gain access to an old-age cave system. Further down
the main path you reach "Nonbos Cave" where people worked in the
years around 1840.
